Reporting Dispute Process

At Worth Finance, we understand how important your credit is. That’s why we work hard to make sure that all of our credit reporting is accurate and timely, so that your on-time payments are accurately reflected and can help you to further build your credit. However, we also understand that credit reports can be confusing and the shock of an unexpected account appearing on your credit report.

Under federal law, you have the right to verify any items on your credit report that you find confusing or incorrect. While Worth Finance is confident in the quality of our reporting, we respect the rights of consumers to fully understand and verify the items that appear on their credit report.

If you believe there is an error in Worth Finance’s credit reporting, you can send a dispute letter directly to our Compliance Department at:

Worth Finance Corporation
11800 Anderson Mill Rd
Austin, TX 78726

In order to offer verification of an account, we need the following information to confirm the identity of the account holder:

  • First and Last Name
  • Address
  • Date of Birth
  • Last 4 digits of Social Security Number

Because there are occasionally customers with the same first and last name, we require all of the above information to ensure the proper account receives verification. This also protects our customers from any unintended disclosure of their personal data to an unauthorized party. Please understand that will be unable to process any disputes not containing all 4 of the above pieces of identifying information.

Substantive disputes or requests for information will have an investigation take place to confirm there are no reporting discrepancies. Customers submitting disputes can expect a response within 30 days of  Worth Finance’s receipt of their dispute (provided that all identifying information is provided along with the dispute.

Third Party Disclosures

At Worth Finance, we believe that your financial and personal information is serious business. That’s why we go above and beyond to ensure that your information is protected and not shared with any unauthorized parties. As part of this commitment, we do not reveal customer’s account details to third parties without the express consent of the accountholder. This includes family-members, friends, and even spouses. Because we understand that this policy can prove inconvenient for customers who have others handle their payments, you are able to authorize certain 3rd parties to discuss limited account information with Worth Finance by using the following form:

Worth Finance Third Party Disclosure Form

Just fill out and sign the form and mail it in to your closest Worth Finance service center and we’ll be happy to discuss your account details with your specified representative.

Please note that even with a 3rd party disclosure form on file, 3rd parties are limited to the following actions:

1) Inquiring about account balances and payment amounts

2) Making 3rd party payments

3) Providing updated contact information for the primary account holder

Most importantly, 3rd parties are NOT able to refinance a customer’s account for them.

If you have any questions about disclosures, and what information can be shared from your account, please feel free to reach out to us at your nearest service center and we’ll be happy to help you
